Pupils who engage in sport learn to lead a healthy lifestyle and to develop their social and leadership skills. Physical and health education is therefore an integral part of Malvern College Hong Kong’s core curriculum, and there is a wealth of sporting activities available within the co-curricular programme.
Football, basketball, rugby, cricket, swimming, netball and basketball enjoy particular popularity. Malvern College Hong Kong is a member of the International Schools Sports Federation (ISSFHK), and teams compete successfully at U12, U14 and U16 level. Prep pupils have the opportunity to compete in tournaments against other international schools, too.
Fencing, cross country and golf are just some of the other sports where Malvern pupils have enjoyed notable successes in representing Malvern College Hong Kong. The school campus features fantastic sports facilities: a 25-meter 6-lane swimming pool, two sports halls, a dance studio, and the sky pitch, located on the campus building’s roof top.
