Malvern College has a well-established history of supporting the development of men and women who go on to be leaders in their fields of expertise, from Nobel Laureates, to politicians, television presenters and sportsmen, to name a few.
Through the Malvern ethos and academic and wider curriculum, we seek to build competence and confidence in leading others, and to develop the mindset and approaches to be able to go on to be compassionate, courageous and confident leaders committed to making a difference. Leadership is developed through a range of activities and responsibilities during a pupil’s school career. Leadership development at Malvern culminates in the Sixth Form Leadership development programme which includes:
Prep House Peer Leaders play a vital role in our school community as elected representatives of their peers and houses. These young leaders take on meaningful responsibilities that foster their growth in leadership skills and contribute positively to the school environment. They serve as ambassadors by embodying our values both within the school and beyond, and they are always ready to rise to new opportunities.
Prep House Peer Leaders assist with various initiatives, including conducting campus tours to showcase our facilities and knowledge to prospective parents. They actively promote a sense of camaraderie and belonging among their classmates, organising events such as talent showcases and charity bake sales. By supporting these activities, they help create a welcoming and engaged community at MCHK.
Our leadership opportunities empower pupils to take initiative, inspire others, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
